No shuffling of leaders occurred at the Dec. 8 meeting of the Garden Grove city council.
With unanimous votes, the members re-elected Steve Jones mayor pro tem. During the Agency for Community Development meeting, the members kept Bruce Broadwater as chair, with Dina Nguyen as vice-chair.
William Dalton retained the presidency of the Garden Grove Sanitary District. The members re-elected Andrew Do as vice-president. Both Broadwater and Nguyen retained their chairs for the Housing Authority.
The members voted to keep Nguyen as chair of the Industrial Development Authority and Mayor Pro Tem Jones as its vice-chair.
The mayoral position is chosen by voters every two years.
