A proposal to spend up to $25,000 to study the feasibility of establishing a Vietnam War Museum in the city will top the agenda for Tuesday night’s meeting of the Garden Grove City Council.
The council meeting, to begin at 6:30 p.m., will include the proposal advanced by Councilmen Bruce Broadwater and Andrew Do. If approved, it would authorize the appointment of members to an exploratory committee, and having the city manager hire a consultant to work on a concept, potential sites and more.
At the Stanton City Council meeting, also Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., the top item is purchase sale agreements to spend over $6 million to purchase nine parcels on Pacific Avenue and Tiny Way for the creation of affordable housing. Three property owners have already agreed to sell.
