A grocery store manager was tied up and robbed of cash and a rifle by three men on Wednesday in Stanton, authorities said.
The robbers walked into the store at 11 a.m., threatened to shoot the manager and tied him up, an investigator on the case said. Although the manager did not see a gun, they managed to take an undisclosed amount of cash, miscellaneous items and a Mini-14 they found while searching the store.
The robbery took place in the 10600 block of Beach Boulevard.
No gunshots were fired, but the manager suffered a minor cut on his leg, said Lt. Jeff Passalaqua of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
The robbers were last seen on Cerritos Avenue inside a gray four-door SUV.
