All-CIF teams for baseball and softball have been announced, and the voters in the Southern Section honored five local athletes.
In Division 3 for baseball, Jordan Geiger of Garden Grove High, and Brandon Moss of Rancho Alamitos, both seniors, were named to the first team.
Picked for the second team were Steven Garber of Orange High and Michael Hill from La Quinta, both also seniors.
The only area softball team picked was senior pitcher Krystian DeWitt of Pacifica, who was named to the first team of Division 1.
