The suspected “Wedding Crasher” from an incident in 2007 in Garden Grove has been arrested.
According to Lt. Travis Whitman of the Garden Grove Police Department, Stephen Kadlec, 38, of Canyon Lake, was arrested at the Riverside County Probation Office at 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
In August 2007, Kadlec allegedly entered the Garden Room wedding reception hall at 12777 Knott St. in Garden Grove and pretended to be a wedding guest. A wedding box with cash and checks valued at $1800 was taken.
A video camera had footage of the incident, and information provided by “WeTip” led investigators to Kadlec, who is on probation for commercial burglary.
Investigators are trying to determine if the suspect was involved in other similar crimes in the area.
