The Argos defeated Westminster 46-14, dropping the Lions from sixth to 10th.
Santiago moved up into second place after defeating Costa Mesa 26-21.
In the Southwest Division, Pacifica was ranked third after edging El Dorado 28-24.
A preseason poll for boys’ water polo listed three area teams in Division Seven. Los Amigos was seventh, Rancho Alamitos ninth and Orange 10th.
