A Garden Grove police officer was arrested Tuesday in connection with an alleged sexual assault, according to a GGPD spokesman.
Jesse Green, 33, was arrested Tuesday at 10:10 a.m. after a complaint was filed at the Orange County District Attorney’s Office for sexual assault, reported Lt. Travis Whitman of the Garden Grove Police Department.
Green was already on non-paid administrative leave in response to allegations that surfaced in November regarding an incident in Huntington Beach. The GGPD contacted the HBPD and placed Green on leave.
‘The Garden Grove Police Department has cooperated fully with members of the Huntington Beach Police Department and the Orange County District Attorney’s Office during the criminal investigation,” said Lt. Whitman.
The allegations do not appear to involved on-duty criminal conduct.
