An arrest has been made and a missing classic car recovered in Garden Grove Wednesday.
According to Lt. Jeff Nightengale of the Garden Grove Police Department, GGPD detectives and those from the Orange County Auto Theft Task Force checked an auto body business on Westminster Avenue in Garden Grove and located the missing 1934 Ford three-window coupe at 9:30 a.m.
It was inside the auto body building covered with sheets and did not appear to be damaged.
One suspect – as yet unnamed – has been arrested and the investigation is continuing. The car is being held at the GGPD station until the owner can reclaim it.
The car, valued by the owner about $250,000, and the trailer that housed it was taken from a home on Palmwood Avenue in Garden Grove Sunday night.
