The Westminster Police Department is looking to expand. An order to purchase property at 15172 Goldenwest Circle for just under $9.5 million will be taken up by the Westminster City Council Wednesday night. If the purchase is approved, the WPD will use the property as a firing range and for long-term evidence storage.
The council will also hold a public hearing as the final step before adopting its next two-year budget. Anyone wanting to speak for or against the budget will be given time during the hearing.
