Jasmine Antunez is MVP for GGL softball

The Most Valuable Player of the Garden Grove League for softball this spring may not be done winning accolades.

Jasmine Antunez, a junior pitcher for Garden Grove High, will be aiming at another stellar season; she won 18 games for GGHS.

Four other Argos made the first team, and two more to the second team. Rancho Alamitos had four on the first team and three on the second team.

The all-GGL first team: Adrianna Cardoza (La Quinta, junior), Sam Haralson (Rancho Alamitos, junior), Monique Yslas (Garden Grove, junior), Celina Sanchez (Garden Grove, senior), Abrianna Palacio (Garden Grove, senior), Ashley Sutter (Garden Grove, sophomore), Felicia Duran (Rancho Alamitos, freshman), Jenavee Peres (Rancho Alamitos, freshman), Karen Mao (Rancho Alamitos, senior), Mindy Gibson (La Quinta, senior),Amanda Garcia (La Quinta, senior), Lauren Le (La Quinta, junior).

The all-GGL second team: Emma Kalati (Bolsa Grande, junior), Laura Villagrana (Garden Grove, sophomore), Danielle Deslauriers (Garden Grove, sophomore), Katie Fredrickson (La Quinta, senior), Sammy Abrahamson (La Quinta, senior), Marissa Kholer (Santiago, senior), Deja Faatoalia (Bolsa Grande, freshman), Victoria Gomez (Los Amigos, sophomore), Vivian Vizcarra (Los Amigos, sophomore), Alex Butorovich (Rancho Alamitos, Rancho Alamitos), Celeen Cortez (Rancho Alamitos, senior), Kyra Sirag (Rancho Alamitos, junior),
