Westminster Mayor Margie Rice was released from St. Joseph Hospital in Orange on Saturday (July 16) and is resting at home with her family.
“I am getting stronger every day,” she said by phone on Monday.
Rice had undergone surgery to remove a small cancerous tumor the previous Wednesday. Though she said she is eager to get back to work, Rice said she will follow her doctor‘s orders and take three weeks off to rest and recover.
