The Pioneers improved to 3-1 with the non-league win at home Thursday night. Mike Jefferson ran for three touchdowns and Gabor Fusick two in the win. Jefferson ended with 157 yards rushing and Fusick 145.

Dominic Pendergrass threw for 142 yards and ran for one touchdown as the Lions posted their first win of the year Thursday night at home. Alex Aguillares rushed for 75 yards and scored one TD for Westminster (1-2).
Irvine 23, Los Amigos 9
The Lobos suffered their first loss of the season Thursday night, falling to the Vaqueros at Garden Grove Stadium. Danny Hernandez led the Lobos (3-1) with 175 yards passing and 69 rushing, including a 59-yard TD run.
