Rancho Alamitos won the Garden Grove League football title for 2011, and also swept all but one of the individual honors.
Brett Hurley, a senior, was named league most valuable player overall. Keanu Duquet, a junior was named MVP for defense. Los Amigos’ Danny Hernandez, a senior, was MVP for offense.
Coach of the year honors went to Rancho coach Mike Enright.

The co-winners of the lineman of the year honor went to Brian Lozano of Garden Grove and Robert Bonilla of Los Amigos, both seniors.
First team offensive linemen were Bill Teutimez (Garden Grove, senior), Zach Peters (Rancho Alamitos, senior), Ruben Paz (Los Amigos, senior), Alafou Sauta (Rancho
Alamitos, junior) and Manasseh Ma’alona (Bolsa Grande, senior).
On the second team were Pedro Gomez (Garden Grove, senior), Gary Lemus (Rancho Alamitos, junior), Ricky Hurtado (Rancho Alamitos, senior), Oscar Ramos (Los Amigos, junior),and Oscar Perez (La Quinta, junior).
First team receivers were Noe Perez (Los Amigos, senior), Justin Nguyen (Bolsa Grande, senior),and Darren Nguyen (La Quinta, senior). On the second team were Anthony Magana (Los Amigos, sophomore), Francisco Enriquez (Santiago, senior), Ardle Tenorio (La Quinta, junior).
First team running backs were Mark Umanzor (Garden Grove), Elias Hernandez (Bolsa Grande) and Jerry Salvidar (Los Amigos), all seniors. On the second team were C.J. Del Real (Garden Grove, junior), Richard Segastume (Santiago, sophomore), and Don Tran (junior, La Quinta).
Lincoln Faleoi of Rancho was the first team quarterback, while Jake Flores of Bolsa Grande was second team.
For defensive linemen, the first team included Xavier Payan (Rancho), Josh Huff (Garden Grove), Juan Cruz (Los Amigos) and Mario Veliz (Bolsa). The second team was John Tauanuu (Garden Grove), Martin Bui (Santiago), Kalab Veletaloola (Rancho Alamitos) and Angel Alvarez (Los Amigos).
First team linebackers were Bryan Quexel (Garden Grove), Kingston Manai (Rancho), Felix Cruz (Los Amigos) and Logan Quisberth (Bolsa). On the second team are Thong Tran (Garden Grove), Noe Alvarado (Santiago), Falani Fiaseu (Rancho) and Alex Lopez (Los Amigos).
The top defensive backs were Leonard Zambrano (Los Amigos), Mike Mireles (Rancho), Ray Reinhardt (Rancho) and Michael Marquez (Bolsa Grande). On the second team were Sabas Hernandez (Garden Grove), Justin Haine (Bolsa), Angel Palencia (Los Amigos) and Vinh Ha (La Quinta).
Special team honors went to Gabe Carillo (Garden Grove) and Frankie Valdez (Los Amigos).
