Applicants won approval for two zoning amendments at the last Garden Grove Planning Commission meeting.
At its July 5 session, planners approved:
• allowing offices (including medical) to occupy up to 25 percent of the total building square footage in a center at the northeast corner of Harbor and Garden Grove boulevards;
• allowing the rezoning of property at 12332 Brookhurst St. to permit karaoke in the Chyll restaurant and to extend business hours.
The July 19 meeting has been cancelled do to a lack of business. The next meeting of the commission is set for Aug. 2.
