A preliminary hearing has been scheduled on July 27 for a woman accused of stealing cash from customers at the Westminster office of the Department of Motor Vehicles.
Patricia Rosario Casas, 44, was arrested in April and has been charged with 22 felony counts for four instances of alleged thefts, according to the Orange County District Attorney’s office. She allegedly charged customers for services, collected cash and then kept the money on four incidents between July 2010 and February 2011.
The hearing will be at the Central Justice Center in Santa Ana at 8:30 a.m.
