Employee contracts go to GGUSD board

Agreements between various employee groups and the Garden Grove Unified School District will go before the Board of Education Tuesday night.

The board will be asked to consider ratifying agreements with the Garden Grove Pupil Personnel Services Association (counselors and psychologists), California School Employees Association (non-teaching personnel such as bus drivers, maintenance workers, etc.) and the Supervisory Bargaining Unit (classified employees who supervise campus plants).

Also on the agenda is consideration of no salary increase for management and confidential employees and the implementation of furlough days. A proposal to reduce the stipend paid to members of the school board will also be discussed.

The board meets at 7 p.m. in the board room on the fifth floor of the Education Center, 11300 Stanford Ave., Garden Grove.
