Garden Grove police are warning residents about a rash of burglaries of homes that are tented for fumigation.
According to authorities, since July 1 there have been nine homes burglarized while pest control activities are ongoing. Unknown suspects are cutting the fumigation tenting and entering the houses.
Police say that generally when a house is tented, workers won’t return for several days until the process is completed.
If you or your neighbors see any suspicious activity around a home being fumigated, report that to police. Most of the incidents have occurred on weekends and overnight. Call 911 if you think a crime is occurring, or (714) 741-5704 if you have information about these crimes.
