A public hearing on a proposal to build a nine-unit tract of single-family homes on Lexington Drive tops the agenda for Tuesday night’s meeting of the Stanton City Council.
The applicant is asking for a conditional use permit, precise plan development, a zone change and tentative tract map to construct the houses on a site of approximately two-thirds of an acre at 10641 Lexington.

This proposal has already been approved by the city’s planning commission.
Also on the agenda are second readings and final approval of ordinances allowing the construction of a housing development at 8112 and 8132 Starr St. and the recovery of costs incurred for fire service costs. Those fees would only befor non-residents.
Tuesday’s meeting will also be the first full meeting with James “Jim” Box as new city manager.
The council meets at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, 7800 Katella Ave., in Stanton.
