One TD not enough in Cavalier loss

A touchdown in the second quarter wasn’t enough as Santiago fell 20-7 to Savanna Thursday night at Garden Grove Stadium in a non-league contest.

Michael  Ateaga scored for the Cavaliers on a 3-yard-run.  Andy Tang was the offensive leader for Santiago with 70 yards rushing, and 90 yards through the air.

The loss dropped the Cavs to 2-3 on the season. Santiago next will host Bolsa Grande at Garden Grove Stadium on Friday.
