Man stabbed in GG parking lot battle

A man was hospitalized with stab wounds in the wake of a fight among 20 men in Garden Grove early Saturday morning.

According to Lt. Jeff Nightengale, the incident took place in a parking lot in the 13000 block of Kerry Street around 1 a.m. Police responded to a report of a large group of male Asians battling.

They found a man down with numerous stab wounds in the arms and chest. After being treated at the scene, the man was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange for further care. His injuries were not considered life-threatening.

The victim was not identified; he was identified only as a male Asian 20 to 30 years old. No suspects have been located in what police believe to be a gang-related alteraction.
