Light agendas for area councils

A contract for street improvements on Harbor Boulevard is expected to be approved by the Garden Grove City Council when it meets Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

City staff is recommending that the bid of $1,256,113 by Palp, Inc. be accepted.

Also on the agenda are a purchase order of $32,289 to buy a utility truck from Simpson Chevrolet, and an amendment with an agreement with Open Spatial Corporation for mobile mapping software for the city’s storm water and sewer systems. Cost: $61,200.

The council’s chambers are in the Community Meeting Center, 11300 Stanford Ave.

A light agenda will greet the Stanton City Council when it meets Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

The council will be asked to award a preventative maintenance contract for the city’s sanitary sewer system to National Plant Services, Inc., for $136,385 per year over a three-year contract.

Also on the agenda will be the award of a contract for drainage improvement in the Santa Rosalia tract. City staff is recommending that the $251,182 bid by All America Asphalt be accepted.

The council meets in the City Hall, 7800 Katella Ave.
