Los Amigos 41, Santiago 6

Jerry Saldivar and Anthony Magana led the way as the Lobos (6-3, 3-1) prevailed Thursday night in a Garden Grove League football game at Garden Grove Stadium.

Saldivar ran for three touchdowns and 196 yards for the evening. Magana ran for two scores and passed for another, ending up with 128 yards in the air and 52 in the ground.

Izaak Barragan scored the lone Cavalier TD and rushed for 84 yards. Santiago is 3-6 and 1-3.

Next week Los Amigos will play La Quinta on Friday, while Santiago meet Rancho Alamitos.

Tustin 82, Western 7

A 75-yard run by Kyle Manigulis was the sole score as the Pioneers were beaten Thursday at Tustin High.

The Tillers are unbeaten and in first place in the Empire League. Western finished the year 3-7 overall and 0-6 in league.

Katella 48, Magnolia 17

A third-quarter surge wasn’t enough as the Sentinels lost an Orange League game Thursday night at Glover Stadium.

Trailing 35-0 at the half, Magnolia rallied with two touchdowns and a field goal, but then the Knights pulled away in the fourth quarter. Adeel Akbar threw for 130 yards and a touchdown; Jamaal Scott ran for a 42-yard score.

Next week Magnolia (3-6, 2-2) takes on Anaheim on Friday at Western High’s Handel Field
