In the final regular season game of the season for both teams, the Vaqueros used a powerful ground game to defeat the Cavaliers Thursday night at Bolsa Grande Stadium.
Keanu Duquet ran for two touchdowns and 157 yards, while Falani Fiaseu had two scores and 171 yards for Rancho, now 7-3 overall and 3-2 in Garden Grove League play.

Santiago (3-7, 1-4) was led by Andy Tang, who threw for two scores and 108 yards.
Yorba Linda 42, Pacifica 28
A fourth quarter rally wasn’t enough for the Mariners to catch the Mustangs Thursday night in an Empire League game Thursday evening at Yorba Linda High.
Pacifica, which finished the regular season at 5-5 and 3-3, trailed 35-7 going into the final period. The M’s offense ignited and scored three TDs to narrow the gap.
Nick Howard was the leader for Pacifica throwing for three touchdowns and 329 yards on the evening.
Santa Ana 17, Orange 14
In the upset of the week, the winless Saints came from behind to defeat the Panthers in a Golden West League contest Thursday night at Segerstrom High.
Santa Ana had lost 31 straight games before stunning Orange and dropping the Panthers to a 5-5 record overall and 2-3 in league play. Aaron Aguilar had 104 yards rushing for the Panthers and scored on a 20-yard fumble return. Lorenzo Rosario threw for one touchdown and passed for 101 yards overall.
