The seating of board members and the selection of a new president top the agenda for tonight’s (Thursday) meeting of the Westminster School District Board of Trustees.
Jamison Power and Amy Walsh, winners in the Nov. 6 balloting, will be administered the oath of office. Former board member Sergio Contreras (recently elected to the Westminster City Council) will swear in Power, while Westminster councilman Tyler Diep will swear in Amy Walsh.
The new board will select a president, vice president and clerk.
Also on the agenda will be a report from the district’s auditor of the annual financial statement.
The WSD is a K-8 district serving most of Westminster and Midway City, along with portions of Garden Grove, Fountain Valley and Huntington Beach.
The meetings of the WSD board are held in the board room at 14121 Cedarwood Ave., Westminster.
