The appointment of an interim administrative services director is expected at Tuesday night’s meeting of the Stanton City Council.
After the resignation of Terri Marsh, a vacancy was created in that post. It’s recommended that Irwin Bornstein be appointed on an interim basis to that post, retroactive to Dec. 11.
Marsh is the latest high-level member of the city’s management team to leave. In August, City Manager Carol Jacobs resigned to take a similar position in another city, and was replaced by assistant city manager Jim Box.
Cutbacks in the municipal budget have reduced the number of full-time employees in the city to 19. Law enforcement and fire services are provided by county agencies under contract.
Also on the agenda are appointments to city commissions, committees and other bodies including the West Orange County Cities Association and the Stanton Community Foundation.
The council meets at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall, 7800 Katella Ave.
