Garden Grove and Stanton will each meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday: Westminster will convene at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, the Garden Grove council will take up appointments to its various city commissions, including the administrative board of appeals (five members), neighborhood improvement (seven), Main Street (seven), parks, recreation and arts (seven) and planning (seven).
Stanton will hear a report on the progress made by the Neighborhood Enhancement Task Force, aimed at providing resources for the city’s “transient population.”
Also, Stanton will consider the repeal of a section of the Stanton Municipal Code prohibiting solicitation to or from moving vehicles, such as asking for contributions from people in cars on public streets.
The repeal stems for a court decision declaring such language to be unconstitutional.
On Wednesday, the council will take up the appointment of five members to the planning commission, five to the traffic commission and five (with one alternate) to the community services and recreation commission, as well as two other boards.
In the closed session, the Wesminster City Council will take up the possible discipline, dismissal or release of two city employees, according to the agenda.
Garden Grove’s city council meets at 11300 Stanford Ave; Stanton meets at 7800 Katella Ave. Westminster meets at 8200 Westmninster Boulevard.
