Principal among the items is a public hearing on an action plan for the use of $5.4 million in U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development funds for the 2013-14 fiscal year.
Of that amount $2.8 million is money carried forward or unallocated from prior years. The biggest single slice ($1.1 million) will go towards repaying a loan obligation from earlier investments in the Harbor Boulevard Tourism Corridor.
The next largest chunk ($385,296) will go toward program management, development, monitoring and public communication.
Allocations of $154,044 would be made for emergency services to facilities for the homeless and victims of domestic violence.
The council meets in the Community Meeting Center, 11300 Stanford Ave. with a closed session at 5:30 p.m., and the regular session at 6:30 p.m.
