A presentation on technology and consideration of new collective bargaining agreements with two employee organizations will top Tuesday’s agenda for the meeting of the Garden Grove Unified School District Board of Education.
Gabriela Mafi, assistant superintendent of secondary education, Rick Nakano, assistant superintendent of business services and Sara Wescott, assistant superintendent of elementary education will brief the board on applied science uses in the GGUSD.
The board will also consider ratification of tentative agreements with the Garden Grove Education Association as well as the California School Employees Association.
Teachers and other faculty members are represented by the GGEA; classified workers such as bus drivers and technicians are represented by CSEA.
The board will meet at 5 p.m. in a study session on the district vision and mission, then will have a closed session at 6:30 p.m. The regular board meeting will commence at 7 p.m.
GGUSD serves most of Garden Grove as well as parts of Anaheim, Cypress, Fountain Valley, Santa Ana, Stanton and Westminster.
