It all starts at 5 p.m. with a study session, which will include a review of state allocation board regulations, pending state legislation and potential impact on current bond and modernization programs.
That will take place in room 502 of the Education Center, 10331 Stanford Ave., Garden Grove.
The regular meeting will follow at 7 p.m. in the board room on the fifth floor. Topping the agenda for that session will a presentation by Gabriela Mafi, assistant superintendent of secondary education. She was present the Simon Scholars winners for 2014 and introduce a representative from the Simon Foundation.
Also on the agenda is consideration of ratification of a tentative agreement between the GGUSD and the Classified Supervisory Unit, as well as consideration of salary increases for management and confidential employees.
The GGUSD serves most of Garden Grove as well as parts of Anaheim, Fountain Valley, Santa Ana, Stanton and Westminster.
