The council will review a report on such a proposed move, and may take action. In 2008, state Senate Bill 731 required cities to permit licensed massage establishments and technicians.
Since that bill became law, “numerous” state-licensed massage establishments have started doing business in Stanton.
Also on Tuesday’s agenda is approval of a five-year agreement with the County of Orange for law enforcement services, which would run from July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2018. The proposed cost for the first fiscal year would be $7.5 million.
Also, the council will consider adoption of a 2013-budget for the city and its housing authority.
The city council will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall, 7800 Katella Ave.
