MEETINGS: Stanton and Westminster City Councils are meeting this week on Tuesday, July 23 at 6:30 p.m. and Wednesday, July 24 at 7 p.m., respectively. The Westminster School District is also having a board meeting on Thursday, July 25 at 7 p.m. The Garden Grove City Council meeting scheduled for this Tuesday has been cancelled.
ON STAGE: This is the last week “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” will be playing at the Westminster Community Theatre. Performances on Friday and Saturday begin at 8 p.m. General admission costs $20. Discounted prices for seniors, students and children under 15 years old. Westminster Community Theatre is located at 7272 Maple St.
“The Sound of Music” continues at the Rose Center Theater in Westminster, located at 14140 All American Way. Performances begin at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and at 2 p.m. on Sundays. The musical will run through Aug. 4. Tickets cost $27 for general admission. Students and seniors pay $22.
Shakespeare’s romantic comedy “Twelfth Night” is evoking many laughs at the Festival Amphitheatre in Garden Grove, located at 12762 Main St. Performances are from Thursdays through Saturdays at 8:15 p.m. General tickets are $35, $33 for students and seniors.
